With the power and technology that stems from mods and the convenience and simplicity of pods, the SMOK RPM40 Pod Device Kit was born as a culmination of the two categories. For years vapers have gravitated towards the power and technology offered by modified devices. However, once pod systems were developed in conjunction with salt nicotine e-liquids, they became the big focus due to the convenience, portability, and overall simplicity. The result of the SMOK RPM40 was combining the two together to create the “REAL POD MOD”.
The SMOK RPM40 Pod Device Kit is truly the first of its kind, a Real Pod Mod (RPM) vaping system that features an integrated 1500mAh rechargeable battery with an advanced intelligence IQ-R Chipset. The pairing of both the battery and chipset allows the system to reach upwards of 40W with ultra-rapid heating time. The firing speed is also lower compared to others on the market, with just 0.0015 seconds.
The outer appearance and features are definitely noteworthy, as it boasts a zinc-alloy chassis construction with dimensions of 99mm by 25mm. Cube-shaped, easy-to-hold, and very comfortable in the palm, you’ll enjoy everything about this little powerhouse device. It has an intuitive firing button, two adjustment buttons, and also features a 0.96” TFT display screen. At the top is a pod that is compatible with both the RPM and Nord Pod. The RPM Pod is designed for RPM coils and has a 4.3ML capacity, while the Nord Pod is designed for Nord coils and has a 4.5ML capacity.
The SMOK RPM40 Pod Device Kit comes with both an RPM Pod with a pre-installed coil and a Nord Pod with a pre-installed coil. The RPM coil is 0.4-ohm and uses a mesh material, while the Nord coil is 0.6-ohm and uses a dual coil. Aside from what coils come included, there are other coil types to take advantage of from both the RPM and Nord pods. If you’re into rebuildable atomizers, an RPM RBA is currently in the works as well.
