GeekVape Aegis Mini 80W Starter Kit
GeekVape Aegis Mini Kit Review
There is simply no denying the remarkable impact that GeekVape has made within the vaping industry. It’s a brand that has defeated all odds and has risen to the top of the leaderboard to become one of vaping’s greatest success stories. Its success and undeniable popularity haven’t come easy though -- this brand has been through the wringer, enduring quite the same struggle that many of the industry’s hottest brands go through. What is the difference between GeekVape and those others? This is their story.
With its inception in 2015, GeekVape has faced an incredible journey and it has taken one of the world’s bright research and development teams to consistently create an outpour of the most innovative products, starting from the Griffin RTA to the Nova Mod. Its most accredited release yet has been its award-winning Aegis series, which is a collection of extraordinarily designed devices that hit the mark in all facets. Within the line-up, the GeekVape Aegis Mini 80W Starter Kit is one of the most impressive.
The GeekVape Aegis Mini Starter Kit consists of the Aegis Mini Box Mod and the Cerberus Sub-Ohm Tank. This two pair perfectly with one another to deliver the ultimate vape experience, filled with high power, marveled looks, and a performance that will be talked about for years to come. The most prominent part of the kit is the Aegis Mini Mod, which features a remarkable construction by utilizing high-quality materials to enhance its miniature structure. The device presents a zinc alloy, leather, and SLI silicone chassis that delivers unwavering durability. In addition to creating a device that can weather the storm of all conditions, the GeekVape Aegis Mini Mod is dustproof, shockproof, and IP67 waterproof, making it the only device on the market that can withstand even the most extreme conditions.
Aside from its quality and materials used, the external portion of the device also features an ergonomic grip, an intuitive OLED display, an oversized firing button mechanism, and two adjustment buttons that allows you to control the device with ease. Before giving access to its many features, a full protection suite has been put in place, consisting of short-circuit protection, 10s cut-off protection, over-heat protection, over-current protection, over-charging and discharging protection, and anti-dry protection that’s used in temperature control mode only.
The Aegis Mini is not only known for its protection suite, quality, durable structure, and its remarkable appearance that’s available in several finish options, but it’s also known for its features and tech-infused internals. Utilizing the advanced AS Chipset and an integrated 2200mAh rechargeable battery, the Aegis Mini Mod has the capability of reaching up to 80W, it features several modes, including a power mode, bypass mode, and its elaborate temperature control suite that provides support for Ni200, Stainless Steel, and Titanium heating elements.
Its sidekick is equally as impressive and makes for the perfect fit for such a masterfully designed device. The GeekVape Cerberus Tank delivers just as much awe when sharing its quality and features, and its performance is right on course as well. The sub-ohm tank features a quality structure that utilizes superior stainless steel and Pyrex glass materials to make up its construction. While the Aegis Mini boasts a compact design, that isn’t quite the case for the Cerberus Tank. In fact, it sports a 25mm diameter, which gives way to a 5.5ML e-liquid capacity when coupled with the bubble glass extension that’s equipped by default.
The most prominent parts of this tank isn’t its fascinating appearance that easily matches the Aegis Mini, nor the breathtaking quality that flows throughout both pieces of hardware, it’s the threaded top-fill design that makes refilling a breeze, the dual slotted adjustable airflow control that’s positioned at the tank’s base, and the use of the industry’s most innovative coil system, the Super Mesh Coil System, which is a solid part of the GeekVape family of coils. The Super Mesh Coil System includes the 0.2-ohm Super Mesh X1 Coil rated for 60-80W and the 0.3-ohm Super Mesh X2 Coil rated for 30-45W. While both coil options are truly performance-driven, the GeekVape Cerberus features a very versatile design and is also compatible with SMOK’s TFV8 Baby Coil options.
